Hi all,
Just to let you know that I have arrived in Newcastle. Haven't gone explored a lot, considering that I've spent the last three days being indoor, watching series and reading books. The new place is nice, although I must say Europe (and England) is overrated, maybe. My first reaction when I came here was "In Australia/Vietnam, the sky is not this depressing" or "why don't they renovate or at least clean up the buildings?". Anyway, blame it on the approaching autumn/winter and England's long history. Melbourne is great,but sometime I just need a change and Europe is not a bad choice.
About me, I will move in my campus flat this Tuesday, so there are still tasks to do. Newcastle Uni is quite ok, although the cloudy sky and the old buildings make everything a bit dull, I guess. Other than that, everything is great. I even met the famous black cat twice during my first day coming to uni (the cat lives in a certain area of Newcastle Uni and is quite popular with uni students, dun really know why). Ok, a new journey begins. Hopefully I can save up some money and go travelling around Europe. Planning to choose Spain after my one year being in England, I think :).

Finally the time has arrived. I am boarding a flight today to Newcasle in the UK and hopefully will start a new chapter of my life. (if it happends to be a REAL chapter, I think the introduction is a bit too long :(, since my itenary is Mel-Adelaide-Singapore-Dubai-London-Newcastle,plus before, I had to pull through two applications for the UK visa and another three or four times switching the flying date and airlines. Anyway, hope it will be fine from now on :) My optimism needs to be recharged!!!). ^^
Thanks to those who sent me goodbye msg or went to have a goodbye dinner with me, I really had a good time with you. And sorry to those I couldn't meet up before I go, I would love to . I will miss you all. These four years being in Australia were unforgettable for me. ~ ~
